Lucian Pavel, Head of Environmental Department at Klarwin, addressed this in a presentation at the SustainAbility 2025 conference. He raised one of the biggest challenges Romania faces in its water infrastructure: the significant losses from national networks, which reach a rate of between 50% and 70%.
