Hydraulic and Lubrication Systems

Over 70% of hydraulic and lubrication system failures are caused by mechanical wear or corrosion — direct effects of particle and water contamination [Rabinowicz, 1981]. Klarwin provides complete contamination control: from system analysis and cleanliness class definition (ISO 4406), through filtration implementation, to continuous fluid monitoring.

Process Fluids — Coolant Filtration

Coolant performance directly influences part quality and tool life. By removing particles, free oils from emulsions, bacteria and water from coolants, we maintain process stability and protect critical components. Klarwin integrates filtration solutions adapted to each fluid type — oil, oil-water emulsion or gel.

Results: extended fluid life, improved surface quality, fewer rejects, longer tool life (critical for internal-coolant tools), reduced waste volume and maintenance frequency.

Sustainable Water Filtration

Klarwin designs and builds customized water treatment systems — manufactured at our Iernut production facility — adapted to each application and industry. We support the responsible use of water resources, extending the life of water-based fluids and enabling efficient reuse.

Applications: incoming water (groundwater, surface, municipal), process water (washing, cooling, emulsions, steam boilers), potable water, wastewater from production or treatment plants.

Clean Air

Over 90% of industrial airborne particles are smaller than 1 µm and remain suspended longer, increasing inhalation risk and equipment contamination. Klarwin integrates air filtration systems for industrial environments:

  • Filtermist — mechanical separation of oil mist from CNC machining, lathes and milling. Reduces equipment deposits, protects operator health.
  • Absolent — multi-layer filtration for solid particles, oil vapors and emulsions. Up to 99.95% efficiency with oil recovery. Ideal for automotive production, metalworking and aerospace.
  • AAF — high-efficiency air filtration solutions (HEPA, ULPA and process filters) for paint booths, clean rooms, gas turbines and general ventilation. Engineered for energy efficiency and long service life in demanding industrial environments.

Applications: clean rooms for painting/precision assembly, volatile emission capture, compressor protection, exhaust gas treatment, factories and workshops for mechanical and high-precision machining.

Paint Filtration

The quality of the final paint layer depends critically on material purity. Visible defects — particles >40 µm, agglomerations or gels — compromise appearance and increase costs through rework. The challenge: filtration must be efficient enough to remove contaminants while allowing pigments and additives to pass through.

Klarwin develops filtration solutions adapted to each paint type — water-based, solvent-based or high-solids — optimizing both application and consumption for a uniform, defect-free finish.

Technical Gases

Gas quality directly influences equipment performance, operator safety and chemical reaction efficiency. Klarwin integrates Pall Coalescer systems for ultra-precise filtration of compressed air, nitrogen, hydrogen and other technical gases.

Applications: pneumatic compressor protection in robotic assembly, pure gas for MIG/MAG welding and plasma treatments, clean room air supply, inert gas for surface pre-treatment and packaging.

Exhaust Gas Treatment — RTO

Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) destroy volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors and combustion gases at oxidation temperatures of 800-1000°C, recovering up to 95% of the thermal energy through ceramic heat-exchanger beds. Engineered destruction efficiencies above 99% with low natural gas consumption.

Automotive applications: paint shop and coating line solvent abatement, e-coat / cataphoresis ovens, adhesive bonding lines, bake oven exhausts and any process where VOCs must be eliminated before atmospheric release.
